Booking Conditions
1st Step – Budget Request
After the budget request or initial contact request through the site, you will be contacted by HPP Algarve Medical Tourism for continuity of the whole process. In order to request a budget you should register in Client Area, where a password will be provided. With the budget request, you may pay 10% of the total amount of the budget to ensure a faster scheduling. You can also request accommodation.
The budget INCLUDES
The budget DOES NOT INCLUDE:
2nd Step – Approval Regarding the unit’s availability, HPP Medical Tourism will schedule the surgery and will have this information available for you at your Client Area. After budget approval and agreement to all the conditions, you should prepare your trip: passport, visa, travel insurance and so on. All necessary documents for a legal entrance in Portugal, as well as a travel, health or any other type of insurance is your entire and exclusive responsibility.
3rd Step – Sending Exams
Once the 1st step is concluded and with your surgery scheduled, you should upload the exams required by the Doctor for diagnosis. You should also fill in a pre-surgical form that will be sent to you by email.

4th Step – Payment
After sending us your exams, you should pay 40% of the total amount in the budget (once you have already paid 10 % on 1st Step), or you should pay 50% of the total amount in the budget for reservation confirmation. This payment is mandatory on the 7 days prior to admission at the Hospital. Remaining 50% should be paid when you are admitted to the Hospital.
5th Step – Consultations
After arriving at Portugal, you should check in your Hotel. On the day of surgery, you should come to the Hospital so that the medical procedure is initiated. This first observation serves the following purposes:
6th Step – Returning Home
Before returning to your country, you will have a post-surgical consultation for medical discharge.
All exams and medical reports regarding the performed procedure will be delivered to you so that you may, if necessary, be accompanied by a specialist in your home country.
7th Step – Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your procedure up to 7 days prior to the date of admission at the Hospital, the total amount already paid will be returned. After this period, HPP Medical Tourism is entitled to charge 500 € (five hundred Euros) regarding file management expenses.
